Our sweet prince, Vaughn Michael, was born on Friday, January 9th at 6:45 am, weighing in at a whopping 7 lbs, 3 oz, and measuring a massive 20 inches!
(preliminary results from the Baby Pool show that Noel won by a very eerily accurate series of guesses...)
So, yep, 32 hours of labour, 5 of them "active". No epidural, and don't tell me that morphine does anything, because it doesn't.
But I don't really want to talk about that. Kaff.
But little Vaughn is doing great! He has an amazingly fluffy and full head of dark hair, beautiful blue eyes, and a sweet demeanor (during daylight hours). I'm on the road to recovery, and here are some pics, since we have to show off our Very Handsome Son to the world!
Thanks for everyone's best wishes - I'll try to keep this site updated with not only what Vaughn is up to, but also what is new in our lives, non-baby-related.
